With vast biotechnological and medical research brewing in India, India has made multiple breakthroughs in field of medicine and medical advancements improving the quality of life of people as well as reducing the disease based fatalities. Life expectancy in India remains 69.42 years based on a recent data with a 7.23 death rate per thousand.   • Fibrin based glue used to successfully transplant the entire front portion of the eye. Earlier the condition of missing intra-ocular lens was next-to-impossible to treat.
  • A five in a one polypill was developed by Indian scientists in collaboration with researchers in Canada. This pill is believed to be the one pill solution for multiple conditions associated with chronic heart disease.
  • RISUG is a non-invasive and non-hormonal male contraceptive having no side effects pioneered by India.
